Princeton High School Fencing Team

How to join the team

Go to the Princeton High School Athletics Page and click on Register for your Sport and follow the instructions
You will need an annual physical form (link) signed by your physician (good for all sports for the year)
You will need an Impact test that is good for two years (register here)

Our mission is to teach the sport of fencing to any interested students

No experience is necessary: While some students may have previous experience, it is not necessary to participate on the team
It is a NO-CUT team: We do not cut any students from the team
You do not need your own equipment: The school has equipment that the students can learn
Fencing is a very safe sport: Fencing had the second lowest incidence of serious injury of any of the Olympic sports.

Team Participation

The team holds six practices a week
We attempt to schedule one meet a week with a local school or a UFC conference school
PHS Fencing participates in the Cetrulo and Santelli meets with 60+ schools from NJ and NY
The season ends with District and State championships

Princeton High School Fencing was started as a club team in 2012 by students that had a serious interest in fencing

The team became a varsity fencing team in 2014
The Boys Saber squad was the first to qualify for the State Championships in 2017
